EP Kings final chance at victory against Pumas

28 September 2016 By Alan Straton

EP Kings coach Barend Pieterse has made seven changes to his starting team for their final Currie Cup match of the season, against the Steval Pumas in Port Elizabeth on Friday evening (kick-off at 18h00).

In the front row, Barend Potgieter replaces Justin Forwood (concussion) at loosehead prop, while Vukile Sofisa is promoted from the bench to tighthead, where he takes over from Pieter Stemmet, who will start amongst the replacements.

At lock, David Antonites is out with a hand injury and will be replaced by Tazz Fuzani, who will be partnered by Dylan Pieterse, with Sebastian Ferreira moving to the side of the scrum.

In another positional switch, Brandon Brown will start in the No 6-jersey in the place of Luke van der Smit, who is on the bench. The only other new name amongst the replacements is that of Warrick Venter, while Van der Smit takes over from the injured Vincent Jobo.

In the backline, the only change is at right wing, where Siviwe Soyizwapi returns to the starting team in place of Alcino Isaacs.
