The company is one of just a handful countrywide to boast the global energy sustainability accreditation.

The National Business Initiative (NBI) implementing a countrywide Private Sector Energy Efficiency (PSEE) Project with funding of £8.6 million from the UK government through its Department for International Development. The PSEE’s aim were to improve energy efficiency in large (energy spend of +R45 million p/a), medium (+R750k energy spend p/a) and small (<R750k energy spend p/a) commercial and industrial companies in South Africa through the provision of various services to assist them to identify and implement energy saving measures.   Large businesses received 60% funding for strategic energy management consultation to a maximum project value of R500 000, the balance was funded by the business (about 70 days consultation).  Medium businesses received fully funded energy survey of a minimum value of R34 000 of consulting services.  Small business had free on-line support (www.psee.org.za), free national energy efficiency workshops and technical publications to assist them in implementing their own survey with confidence to achieve savings.
