The refinery later reached a settlement with the injured workers to cover their medical expenses and lost wages.

In conclusion, accidents in Elizabeth have resulted in various lawsuits and cases filed over the years. Some have been resolved through out-of-court settlements, while others are still pending in court. The jurisprudence in Elizabeth regarding accidents and injuries continues to develop as more cases are filed.
