Nyathi Rest Camp: After the privately owned Nguni River Lodge in the Addo Elephant Park Nyathi Concession failed, SANParks took over the Lodge and spent close on R19 Million to convert it into the Nyathi Rest Camp.
The Honourable Minister of Environmental Affairs DR BEE (Edna) Molewa officially opened the Nyathi Rest Camp on Sunday 11 September 2016 on the eve of National Parks Week.
Nyathi is Xhosa for Buffalo.
