Eastern Cape Tourism Awards & Expo 2025

The Eastern Cape is set to shine a spotlight on its thriving tourism sector with the launch of the inaugural Eastern Cape Tourism Awards & Expo (ECTA). These initiatives, taking, place during Tourism Month in September 2025, aim to recognize outstanding achievements, foster innovation, and drive economic growth within the province. The launch event took place at the Mentors Country Estate in Jeffrey’s Bay, Eastern Cape on 20 February 2025. The Expo and Awards will be held at the same place, in Kouga Municipality, on 25 -27 September 2025.

All tourism businesses in the Eastern Cape are encouraged to participate, whether by entering the awards, attending the expo, or both. Nominations for the ECTA will open on 1 March 2025, and close on 15 April 2025. Businesses can be nominated by others or self-nominate.
