The chosen designers will showcase their work at the 2024 Eastern Cape Fashion Week™? in August.
The Eastern Cape Fashion Week™? formerly known as Ebubeleni Fashion Show/Week®? has rebranded and has opened the platform to all Eastern Cape designers and not only Nelson Mandela Bay based designers as in previous years. The designers have the opportunity to showcase their talent through a series of engaging activities including showcases, competitions, fashion markets and designer workshops. In addition, to our esteemed Eastern Cape designers, we are proud to feature Nelson Mandela University’s fashion design students, distinguished guest designers and captivating performing artists on our runway. The Eastern Cape Fashion Week is not just a showcase of style but is a celebration of creativity and innovation in fashion.
“The fashion week is initiated by Ebubeleni Festival Projects, a Non-Profit Company established in 2019 to drive the development of the Arts, Culture, and Fashion industry in Nelson Mandela Bay and the broader Eastern Cape region. We are thrilled to present an annual fashion extravaganza that serves as a vital support platform for the Eastern Cape fashion industry”, said Namhla Fihla one of the organisers.
The 3rd instalment of Eastern Cape Fashion Week will be held during Women’s month from the 7th until 10th of August 2024 in Gqeberha. More details will follow.
