Hello Alan
As an internet incompetent, I wandered into Google and found that the PEMADS had just done “Don’t Dress for Dinner”. I was an active member of PEMADS in the early 1950s, playing in “Tulip Time”, “Maid of the Mountains”, “Hit the Deck”, “Intent to Murder” and 1-Act play.
And the coincidence is that I am about to have auditions for “Don’t Dress for Dinner” which I am directing in Melbourne, Australia at the Eltham Little Theatre.
Of course, I didn’t recognise any of the names in your webpage but it is just wonderful to know that PEMADS is still going strong. We used to perform at the Athenaeum “Little Theatre” in Belmont Terrace, and the musicals at the Opera House or City Hall. Walmer Park is new to me. I left PE in 1955 and South Africa in 1960.
Kind regards
Jonne Finnemore
