Despatch SAPS seek Three Suspects

The South African Police Service in Despatch are searching for three suspects in connection with a house robbery that occurred in the early hours (04:00) of Sunday morning, 12 March 2017 in Hobe Street, Despatch. It is alleged that the complainant and his two brothers were sleeping, when they heard a noise outside. As the complainant and his brothers approached a door it was allegedly kicked open by the suspects. The three suspects threatened the brothers with a foreign object (not clear if it was a firearm or knife) and the suspects demanded cash from them. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, an older model Television Set, cellphone and groceries and fled from the scene. No one sustained any injuries during the robbery. No arrests were made as yet.

Despatch detectives are following up on all possible leads and request anyone who might be able to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects, to contact SAPS Despatch on 041 933 8800 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
