The results of this Australasian trip will have very little bearing or nothing at all in this coming weekend’s SAFA National Executive Committee meeting that is set to decide the fate of Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund. The senior national team coach’s contract expires in August but SAFA is eager to settle this matter this week to give direction for 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers that start in September. Igesund had a mandate to reach the AFCON 2013 semi-finals and qualify for this year’s FIFA World Cup and failed both.
