The Music Kitchen will bathed in the soulful sounds of blues-rock guitar legend, Dan Patlansky.
He is a conglomerate of charisma, charm and musical genius – and all of this comes wrapped up in an unassuming, startlingly attractive package. There are no airs and graces here – just sincerity and an incredible musical talent.
Dan, together with bass player, Clint Falconer and drummer Andy Maritz, will be appearing at the Music Kitchen, 69 Mangold Street, Newton Park on the 1st and 2nd of June. Dan said “I am looking forward to performing songs from my latest album ‘Stones’ as well as other favourites’.
About ‘Stones’ Dan says “I was going for an extremely old school filthy approach on the blues, which I’ve always wanted to do. I believe we definitely nailed that. Not only did I draw from my love of the blues but also my love of old school rock n roll.”
The show starts at 7:30 pm at an entrance fee of R100 per person.
