Cricketers Get a Chance to Win one of Three Cars

Axxess St George’s will host the first of the Standard Bank Pro20 Semi Finals this weekend with the Chevrolet Warriors taking on the Nashua Dolphins at Axxess St George’s on Friday 25 February at 18:00.

Chevrolet recently won the coveted award for the Best Sponsorship of a Sport Team or Individual at the inaugural Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards 2011 and as part of their marketing strategy for this season will be giving away one Cruz 1.8 Automatic to the first player that successfully hits one of the 3 vehicles that will be parked on the grass embankment. The player will have to hit the car with a direct hit six. Each car will have an adjudicator to confirm the direct hit.

A double whammy competition for fans will see one lucky ticket holder potentially win R5000.00. One ticket number will be drawn and that person will win R2500.00. If a player wins the vehicle the prize will be doubled to R5000.00.

The Standard Bank Pro20 action will continue for this match with the Standard Bank dancers, the foam pit and dunk tank. A limited 1000 hard hats will also be handed out.

Tickets are on sale at the Axxess St George’s ticket office from 08:30-16:30 during the week or from any PostNet outlet.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Unreserved adult R50
  • Unreserved scholar / pensioner R25
  • Reserved R60
