Love is in the air as G&S stage their annual Valentine’s Cabaret fundraiser this February. Join us for an intimate evening of cabaret with some of our amazing G&S performing family. Faye Gatley, Rose Cowpar and Melissa Jantjies return to our Valentine’s line up along with Ace Magxaki, Damien Anderson, Craig de Vos, Chad van Rooyen and a couple more surprises.
Seating is cabaret style so you can bring along snacks and sit back and relax with friends for a special evening’s entertainment including a mixture of all time favourites, recent hits and a few show tunes to round out the programme. This year we mix a little Bublé with Sondheim, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Barry White. The G&S Choir will also be appearing in their second showcase since forming last year.
The annual Valentine’s Cabaret is the major Gilbert and Sullivan fundraiser for the year and your support helps the Society to continue presenting the superb quality of entertainment that they are known for. The funds raised this year will go towards production costs for the main G&S production in 2011, the much loved classic, Oklahoma!
Crazy in Love runs from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th February at the Savoy with all shows starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are just R80 or R600 for a table of 8, the same price as last year to beat the recession!
Bookings are now open, call Rose Cowpar on 072 906 1977 to reserve your seats for what promises to be a magical night’s entertainment.
