DURBAN – All Communities serviced by the Umlazi police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed due to one of its members, at the Community Service Centre who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus today, 21 December 2021.
The Community Service Centre will now operate from the Mobile Satellite Station which is near the entrance of Police station for the convenience of the community.
To access the station, the Community Service Centre members of the public can call 079 889 9804 or 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended to accordingly.
The telephone lines at Umlazi police station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. However service delivery will not be hampered.
The Community Service Centre and The Administration building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally at the station on Wednesday, 22 December 2021.
The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
