Chippa United shift four home games to Buffalo Park, East London

Chippa United chairman Chippa Mpengesi has announced that four of his club’s home fixtures will be played at Buffalo Park Stadium in East London next year.

“Our home games against Ajax Cape Town on 23 January, Jomo Cosmos on 6 February, Platinum Stars on 27 April and l our game against Orlando Pirates on 11 May will be played at Buffalo Park,” Mpangesi says.

According to Mpangesi, the Premier Soccer League has given the go-ahead for the four matches to be shifted to East London. The matches were originally scheduled for Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

However, Chippa’s next home fixture, against Bidvest Wits will be played at Nelson Mandela Bay, on January 10.
