Starting as Prestige Cleaning Services in 1969, the company has a rich history in the South African landscape and in 1993 they were bought by the Bidvest group. Both as Prestige Cleaning Service and Bidvest Prestige Cleaning, the company acquired other businesses and have consistently expanded its offering and boasts a strong workforce in a variety of sectors including Health, Hospitality, Mining, Commercial, Food Hygiene, Retail, Industrial, AutoCare and Education.

Over the last 50 years, amongst its innovations is that of the Training division known as Bidvest Edge, as well as a mobile management app and a real-time mobile workforce management solution. The mobile app and management solution ensures the workforce and assets are in the right areas at the right time, doing what is required at the time and measures service delivery against client expectations.
