Tomorrow morning (Monday 30 December 2013) I will play my 100th round of golf this year at my home club – Kragga Kamma Country club.
I have also played a number of rounds at different other clubs, taking my annual number of rounds to 108. All these rounds were done walking and pulling my own golf equipment. At a conservative 6km per round, that equates to about 650 km on foot.
I’m proud of this achievement and very thankful for the good health which I enjoy, making this possible. I am 65 years of age, and a pensioner, which of course, makes it possible to have the time to reach this, for me, special milestone.
Thank you for your regular PE news updates.
Regards,
Frans Schellingerhout
