Grey College showed why they are a force to be reckoned with after securing an emphatic 38-14 win against Grey High in a Sportsmans Warehouse Interschools derby in Gqeberha on Saturday, 29 July. College scored seven tries to two in a match that the visitors from Bloemfontein dominated in the second-half. The friendly city of Gqeberha will see two brother schools Grey High and Grey College battle it out in the Premier Interschools on Saturday, July 29. The rivalry between these two schools has been in existence since 1929. Grey High and Grey College both have the same benefactor in Sir George Grey, Governor of the Cape Colony from 5 December 1854 to 15 August 1861. Eastern Province, the Sharks and Western Province showed their attacking intent at the U16 Girls Week tournament staged at Jeppe High School in Johannesburg on Wednesday. The U16 fixtures scheduled for Monday were postponed until Wednesday, due to the adverse weather conditions in Johannesburg. Eastern Province and Grey High School Craven Week Captain Imaani Pemba has been selected for the SA Schools 'A' Side. He joins three other Eastern Province players n the side. EPRU president Maasdorp Cannon suspended for two years

The president of the Eastern Province Rugby Union, Mr Maasdorp Cannon, has been suspended for two years from holding any position or participating in any rugby structures under the auspices of the South African Rugby Union (SARU), having been found guilty of contravening the SARU Constitution and its Code of Conduct. Border has been restored to full membership of the South African Rugby Union following an extended period of administrative control by the mother body.Border was suspended from membership in October 2018 because of its dire financial position and on-going administration issues.
