The opposition party in Nelson Mandela Bay, the ANC, delivered a petition to the new government on 1 December citing 13 ‘areas of concern’.
Here Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Athol Trollip responds to the Council Meeting Crisis where glass jugs were hurled by Councillors at opposition.
Two ANC Councillors had charges laid against them.
Trollip said; “The allegation is baseless, it serves, if it is indeed true, as an indictment on the ANC administration that would have presided over such anomalous decisions over the past 23 years.
