Blasting on the N9 between Middelburg and Carlton Heights by Port Elizabeth – MyPR:

05 May, 2016: The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) would like to notify travellers that blasting is scheduled to take place on the road between Middelburg and Carlton Heights on Tuesday, 10 May 2016 at 2pm.

The blast will take place at the Wolwekop Quarry (Section 7) on the N9 outside Middelburg on the Carlton Heights side.

The road will be closed for approximately 15 minutes during the blast.

“Motorists are asked to plan their trips accordingly and to use caution when making use of the road,” said Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL Southern Region’s Regional Manager.

SANRAL apologises for any inconvenience caused.
