23 April 2016 By Port Elizabethan

Blasting between Grahamstown and Fish River Pass by Port Elizabeth – MyPR:

22 April, 2016: Blasting is taking place on N2 Section 13 between km 66 (15km from Grahamstown on the N2 towards Peddie) and km 77 (3km before the Coombs turnoff).

The blast will take place Mondays to Thursdays, with the last blast scheduled for May 31st.

The South African National Roads Agency Ltd (SANRAL) would like to notify travellers that the blasting will take place between 14h00 and 16h30 and the road will be closed for approximately 45 minutes during this time.

“Stop-Go controls and traffic calming measures are also planned for this section of the road and motorists are requested to plan their trips accordingly,” said Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL Southern Region Regional Manager.
