A solo exhibition of works by the NMMU Masters Graduate artist, Bev de lange will open at 17h30 on Tuesday 1 March 2011 at the artEC gallery in Bird Street Central, Port Elizabeth. It will run until 1 pm on Friday the 11 March 2011.
The guest speaker at the opening will be Professor Cleonie Cull from the department of Music, Art and Design at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
According to the artist the body of work presented in this exhibition is an attempt to extend the metaphor of ‘thread’ used in her installation for a Master’s qualification in Fine Art in 2010.
