Become part of the Christmas Display

19 November 2016 By Alan Straton

Visitors to The Boardwalk between 20 November 2016 and 15 January 2017 will have the opportunity to literally become part of the complex’s festive display. Over and above some minimal Christmas lights and displays, The Boardwalk will be staging four 3D virtual reality displays, depicting scenes, which guests can step into.

The Boardwalk is the only complex within a 200km radius to have the 3D image displays over the festive season, bringing this unique experience to The Bay for the first time.

“We are doing things a little differently this year and invite our visitors to step into our 3D image displays. They can literally become part of the virtual scenes which offer fun filled photo opportunities,” says Vuyiswa King, Events & Entertainment Manager of The Boardwalk.

The varying 3D virtual scenes will be located at the hotel lobby entrance, The Boardwalk’s 2nd Avenue Entrance, the Craft Centre and at the Marine Drive Entrance to The Boardwalk.
