Nelson Mandela Bay’s best hope of future Premier Soccer League (PSL) participation, Bay Stars, will be taking on Mighty Greens at Westbourne Oval tomorrow night (13 April) at 7:00pm.
The change in venue came as a result of damage to the Gelvandale Stadium’s pitch during a recent tournament.
Bay Stars Managing Director Tony Lovegrove said although Friday night football matches at the Gelvandale Stadium became somewhat of an institution for hundreds of fans, he hopes that the die-hard supporters will come and support the team with eight matches remaining in the Vodacom League.
