The hard-fought Nelson Mandela Bay Vodacom League derby between the city’s best answer to long term Premier Soccer League (PSL) participation, Bay Stars, and Highbury delivered an anti-climax when the scoreboard was still stuck on 0 – 0 after 90 minutes.
Bay Stars will now take on FC Buffalo in East London this Saturday before returning for the last Vodacom League match against Mthatha Bucks on 2 June at the Gelvandale Stadium.
Prior to this goalless draw, Bay Stars had won every home match.
