Bay Megafest Tickets on Sale Now

Ludacris, Shaggy, Protoje, and Ne-yo will each perform for an hour live on stage as part of the Mbay Megafest programme at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on 2 June.

South African music stars Bucie and Mi Casa will also give performances of an hour on stage.

Local artists Naak, Eltonnick, Gino Lee and Shoe Lace also feature on the main line-up with no less than seven top DJs in a programme that begins at 1pm and ends after midnight.

“In total 17 acts make up the action-packed programme for the main stage which will thrill fans for a solid 12 hours,” Zeranza SA, CEO Andrea Wessels said. Organisers Zeranza SA, have also confirmed that a second stage would feature a line-up of local and emerging artists. The programme and artist line-up is still to be finalized.

The honour of opening the Main Stage has been given to 16 year-old Nelson Mandela Bay sensation Gino Lee former winner of the KTV Young Stars talent competition.

Ne-yo is scheduled to close off the concert at around 11pm

With 9 Grammy’s, 3 SAMA’s and multiple award winners represented at the full day festival, it is expected that 38 000 tickets, which includes fixed seating and standing room on the pitch will be snapped up.

Tickets from R150 to R550 went on sale at Computicket today, Monday 14 May.
