Art Workshops for Children

If you are looking for something creative for your children to do during the holidays you are more than welcome to bring them to the Art Museum, let them be inspired and explore their creativity.

The art workshops are inspired by the Vibrant City exhibition.

  • 8 December: City Scape Painting: 7 – 10 yrs
  • 9 December: City Scape Painting: 11 – 14 yrs
  • 12 December: Mixed media Painting: 7 – 14 yrs    
  • 14 December: Paper Craft – Mini paper city    7 – 14 yrs    
  • 15 December: Architecture Collage: 7 – 14 yrs    
  • 4 January: Printmaking: 7 – 10 yrs
  • 5 January: Creative Drawing: 11 – 14 yrs
  • 6 January: Painting: 7 – 14 yrs

Please note:

  • Time: 9h00-12h00 on dates above
  • Ages: 7 – 14 years old    
  • Price: R30 per child, cash. All materials will be provided
  • Please bring along an apron or old clothes and your own packed lunches

Booking is essential as only a limited number of participants can be accommodated. For more information and to secure a place telephone the Art Museum on 041 506 2000.

Opening times: Weekdays: 09h00 – 17h00 (closed Tuesday mornings). Entrance free. The Art Museum is closed on weekends and public holidays until further notice.
