Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer 2026 Beneficiary Applications Open

6 May 2026 By Alan Straton

Algoa FM is gearing up for the Eastern Cape and Garden Route’s biggest charity event – the 28th Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer, presented by ISUZU Motors South Africa.

We invite non-profit organisations supporting cancer patients and their families in Algoa Country to apply to be selected as a beneficiary of this year’s event, which will be held on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

Applicants must have a strong presence in Algoa Country, which stretches from the Garden Route to the Wild Coast, and inland through the Karoo.

Funds are allocated to the purchase of technical equipment. Operational costs are not covered.

The main event will take place in Nelson Mandela Bay, with parallel events in Buffalo City and George on the same day.

For more information and to access the online application form, please visit www.algoafm.co.za and click on Algoa Cares.

The closing date for applications is Friday, 22 May 2026.
