AIM Public Fundraising Appeal

7 October 2021 By Alan Straton

Dear Gqeberhians, Voters, Fiends and Family,

Thank you very much for the many words and messages of support for my journey to contest a local government election under our resident’s movement, Abantu Integrity Movement (AIM) . Your prayers, confidence & undoubted support for this journey is an important source of strength not only for me, but also for my family and the AIM campaign team generally

Our AIM is to help make Nelson Mandela Metro a more stable, growing, and dynamic metro that is competitive economically, embraces real change through its people and crafts a special experience in our space for all residents and in the hearts of those who visit and enjoy our unspoilt beaches and wonderfully diverse history and vibrant culture.

We can only make that happen with support through the vote and to crowd our failed implementation and poor management of the council by electing leaders of integrity, skill and energy that unifies our city and metro in a way like never before.

To do that your help can ensure we have a fighting chance against the big spenders who’ve been at this for over two decades. We believe its time for real and sustainable change and we have a plan to chart a new future. To read more, see our AIM 10-Point Plan and How We will Govern on our website www.aim4change.org.za

We are currently in guerrilla tactical mode with resourcing so any support your can give us either financial or in-kind products/services and support will be of help.

Supporting AIM

Many of you have requested how you can support our campaign. Some have offered financial support and from afar many want to know what they can do.

For those who wish to make a direct contribution to our AIM4Change Campaign, please see our bank details below. Your support will ensure our a new-born residents movement now 8-month old since our launch in March 2021 will bolster our to date, self-sustaining efforts with private AIMers donations as we’ve been bootstrapping our resource mobilisation.

Any political election campaign needs money, and you can make any donation from as little as R100 and above to our campaign. Please feel free to make a monthly donation if that helps as we also wish to seed beyond the 1 November 2021 poll and are looking to expand aggressively our push into residents-based agenda to help build our campaign for the future.

Social Media

For more information, please visit www.aim4change.org.za or our social media accounts across Twitter/Instagram and Facebook (when it’s up!) for more details on our 10-Point Plan, Membership and Activities during the next week or to offer your support for our Election Volunteer Team, please feel free to email us on patricia.maqina@aim4change.org.za to record your interest in:-

  1. Volunteering as Election Party Agent
  2. Volunteering on Campaign Promotion Team
  3. Volunteering on Transport Logistics Team to get AIMPeople2thePolls.

AIM Bank Account for Funds

All funds received are recorded by our accountants and reported to the Executive based on the Party-Political Funding Act (2018). Upon receipt AIM issues an Acknowledgement of Receipts within 72 hours to donors.

Please ensure you send us your POP with your contact and email addresses.

  • Account Name: Abantu Integrity Movement (AIM)
