My Mother always used to tell me; “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything!”

Well, clearly, I had a bad case of aural and brain wave deprivation every single time she told me that as I love to run my mouth off at anything that doesn’t quite meet or exceed my already low standards and expectations.

Now that Showtime is finished I will say it; “The Longhair and I attended Showtime expecting a show the equal of a Pro20 Cricket match – loud, exciting, punchy – BUT were dished up the equivalent of the long form of the game slowly playing out to a draw. Showtime 2011 stands out as the first and only show IN MY LIFE that I have walked out of!”

As if that disappointment wasn’t enough – whilst trawling through the interweb on YouTube I came across a video uploaded on 4 February 2011 featuring Evolver One’s concert at The Boardwalk.

Do me a favour, please take the microphones away from those simpering sycophants ‘interviewing’ Evolver One – sheesh okes no wonder no-one comes to perform in Port Elizabeth!
