The Herald newspaper and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Community Dialogues cordially invites you to join a public conversation, on 2 August at the Feathermarket Hall in Port Elizabeth, with the MEC of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mlibo Qoboshiyane and civil society organisations who have voiced their concerns about problems besetting the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

Church leaders, business leaders, ratepayers and political parties have raised concerns about the leadership divisions, service delivery protests, the absence of a permanent municipal manager and several executive directors, the many vacancies and allegations of corruption in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

Join us to have your say in a conversation that will help to resolve the challenges facing our city. Please invite your face-book friends, colleagues and anyone you think would like to participate in this dialogue by forwarding this invite to your mailing lists and your various networks be they churches, civil society organisations, political parties, sports clubs or educational institutions. The greater the diversity of voices who engage in our dialogues, the richer the debate.
