Within Aim we went from being Community ACTIVISTS to Community BUILDERS now we need to go from being Councillors to ??????
It is time to get rid of the title Councillor and exchange it for something more meaningful – for a word that describes getting down to work, getting hands dirty and a word that gives citizens confidence that their needs will be met and expectations over delivered on…
COME ON wordsmiths – what is THAT word we are looking for?
And then, when we get to Council, let’s shake things up once again and NOT sit in Political blocks like sheep guarding against wolves BUT according to Ward Number – how powerful will that message be to Councillors that they need to be place the needs of their constituents AND City ahead of their own AND ahead of any party political imperative!
