5:00 pm Deadline issued to Jordaan to unban billboard

The DA has today delivered a Letter of Demand to Danny Jordaan, that he revokes his Executive Instruction to remove the DA’s “Danny Jordaan, proudly brought to you by Jacob Zuma” billboard.

Jordaan has until 17:00 today to unban the billboard, failing which the DA will seek urgent remedy in the High Court, against Jordaan.

The DA contends that Danny Jordaan acted unlawfully and unjustly in removing the DA’s billboard, simply because the ugly truth of the billboard is inconvenient to the ANC election campaign and to Danny Jordaan.

Danny Jordaan was deployed to NMB by Jacob Zuma, is an ally of Zuma and has acted this week to politically defend Zuma’s corruption by abusing his office as Mayor. The broken Mayor is indeed hell-bent on protecting the broken president.

The timing of this unlawful and unjust ban on political freedom of speech, is not a coincidence as the ANC holds a manifesto event in NMB this weekend and Jordaan works to protect the broken President.

We await word from Jordaan by 17:00 today that the billboard will be unbanned.
