Ward 2 Councillor, Dean Biddulph, along with the assistance of a generous public has packaged close to three hundred gift boxes that will mainly benefit the Khaya Cheshire in Walmer Township, SOS Children’s Village and Sister Ethel’s Missionvale Centre.
Dean writes; “So often we tend to forget just how fortunate so many of us are and it has been an absolute joy to be able to put together these goodie packs and I’m convinced that here will be many a smiling face on Christmas Day as a result. Each parcel contains a variety of toiletries, stationery, clothing, toys and sweets/food items that were donated.
“None of this would have been possible without the wonderful generosity of many companies and private individuals who gave so generously and selflessly ans for this I would like to convey my sincere thanks. None of this could have been possible without the help of the great Port Elizabeth community.”
