Twenty-eight people who died during the Bhisho Massacre 24 years ago will be honoured Wednesday by Eastern Cape government, family members and communities. This day in 1992, thousands of protesters led by senior ANC leaders to Bhisho in 1992 to overthrow the ruler of the then Ciskei homeland, Oupa Gqozo. Ciskei Defence Force members opened fire on the protesters, killing 28 marchers and one soldier. SABC Busisiwe Jemsana joins us from Bhisho with Eastern Cape premier, Phumulo Masualle.
