The Port Elizabeth Riding Club will be hosting another top class event this August.
The Eastern Cape Provincial Showing Championship Show will be held at the venue in Burgeuss Street, Lorraine, from 16 – 18 August 2019.
This years Winter Wonderland Show has attracted bumper entries of all age groups from as far as George, Queenstown, East London, Grahamstown as well as the local combinations.
We have two judges from out of province coming to judge, one from the Free State and the other from Gauteng, these judges are both at the top of their games being on the National/International panel of S A Judges.
Showing is equated to Beauty Competitions wherein the owners, riders and grooms spend hours of preparation on their horses prior to entering the ring.
There are 87 Classes on offer at this years exciting event, including Strictly Come Showing (showing to music) Best Handler classes for our fabulous Grooms and Lead Rein classes and Fancy Dress Classes for the tiny tots who will be the riders of our future.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for the public to view the various breeds of horses, entered at this show we have Arabs, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Appaloosas and Friesians competing In Hand and Under Saddle for the duration of the show.
Catering and Bar services are available at the PE Riding Club and the Public are welcome, so pop in and bring the family for a completely different outing
