The Nelson Mandela University’s Music Department will play host to yet another Bryars Scholarship Concert on 22 August 2018, 19h30 at the Nelson Mandela University’s South Campus Auditorium.
A significant amount bestowed to the University by music teacher and humanitarian Charles Bryars, allows the Department of Music to allocate bursaries once a year to worthy students to further their studies in music.
The finalists were chosen after auditions were held last week, where the panel of adjudicators selected the finalists. The five finalists are Berenice Pretorius, Lara Potgieter and Joshua Bussy (piano) , Chadley Johnson (trombone) and Kirsti Limbert (flute).
Tickets will be available at the door for R50 adults, R30 pensioners and R20 students.
