The last of the 2016 Town Lodge Business Night Relay events will be taking place on Tuesday (30th) at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, starting at 6pm. Nelson Mandela Bay’s unique Business Night Relay has been well supported this winter and will be looking for a record attendance of running and walking teams come Tuesday evening.
No other event in the country offers such a fun corporate team building opportunity in the settings of an iconic 2010 legacy stadium. This will be the final opportunity to get your company, social or sports teams together in teams of 5 runners or 3 walkers to come and take part in this event which sees all participants completing a fast 3.5km secure route within the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium premises.
“We’ve enjoyed a fantastic winter of night racing with near perfect weather on each of the race nights to date, ” said Series Director Michael Zoetmulder of Zsports Event NPC.
Gates open from 4pm for late registration and the collection of teams batons and race numbers with racing kicking off at 6pm and followed by the popular prize giving at 8pm offering over R20,000 in lucky draw prizes including R1,000 cash, a R3,500 pair of Asics running shoes and accommodation at any countrywide Town Lodge. The 2016 Town Lodge Business Night Relay is enjoying the 2nd year of a 3 year sponsorship deal with the City Lodge Hotels Group and is hosted by Access Management at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Huge thanks goes to this year’s support sponsors; BOS Sport, Caltex Eastern Cape, Oracle Media for the social media support, Quality on Demand Management for the lighting, ESS Medical for all the medical support, Dynamic Express Services and Atlas Security.
