From left to Right: the Town Hall nearing completion, a partial view of the old Jail, the Post Office with grounds fenced in, the bookshop and printing works of Richards, Impey and Co. on the corner of Castle Hill, the respective stores of Hansen & Schrader, EL Kift and Mr Wimble. Above the latter can be seen the uncompleted walls of St. Augustine’s Church in the course of erection.
