Aerial Lift Rentals

Mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) hire, sales, service and repairs. Established in Gqeberha in 1998, AERIAL LIFT RENTALS pioneered the mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) industry in the Eastern Cape, Southern Cape and Border regions. In that year we, together with 4 Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Richard’s Bay based companies, teamed up with JLG as their appointed Rental Partners and effectively birthed the MEWPs rental industry in South Africa. After the expiry of the JLG partnership agreements in mid-2001, we added the Genie, NiftyLift and SkyJack brands to our rental fleet. MEWPs, also widely known as aerial lifts, aerial work platforms, access work platforms, cherry pickers, man-lifts and powered access, greatly increase worker safety and productivity, thereby reducing fatigue and stress. They provide our customers with a much safer, faster and cost-effective alternative to traditional methods for working at height like ladders and scaffolding. Additional benefits include reduced labour requirements and increased manoeuvrability and reach (both vertical and horizontal).
