Radio Raps cuts a Lang Storie Kort

3 December 2019 By //  by Alan Straton Leave a Comment

Radio Raps
Jonathan “vanaf die Oos-Rand” or Radio Raps

The legendary storyteller and funnyman, Jonathan “vanaf die Oos-Rand” or Radio Raps, as he is better known, is headed to The Boardwalk to unleash his special blend of storytelling and comedy on 20 and 21 December.

This popular comedian, who first became known on the local entertainment scene when online radio station, Radio Raps posted some of his original material on YouTube and gained more than 3-million views in the process, is ready to crack up fans at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre with his new show.

In his show, Lang Storie Kort, this hilarious joker addresses the fact that life is short but that living it is the longest thing you’ll ever do. In his typical laugh-a-minute style, Radio Raps speaks about how we can actually relax about the seriousness of life and also points out some important aspects of life we often overlook but should be more attentive of.

This young comedian has become wildly popular, not simply because he drives the audience to stitches every time he speaks, but also because he uses his sense of humour to lightly address some of the most serious, relevant life issues faced by people on a daily basis. He has also become very well known for the way he is able to encourage open mindedness, inspiring his fans, creating social awareness and changing perspectives.

We all need to have a good laugh once in a while, and a night out with Radio Raps is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Gather all your friends and family over 16 years of age and book your tickets to Radio Raps – Lang Storie Kort through Computicket. Tickets cost R150 and the show starts at 20h00.

I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
