Humewood Golf Club is extremely proud to host the 2nd Annual Animal Welfare Golf Day on the 30th of August 2019. Last year, the club was home to 3 wonderfully playful pups looking for homes on the day and we are very happy to hear that all 3 found homes thereafter.
This year, Humewood is going the extra mile to raise some much-needed assistance for Animal Welfare as they get no assistance from the government and rely solely on donations and fundraisers such as the golf day to survive.
At any point during the year, they have roughly 130-150 animals at their premises which need daily assistance whether it is food, blankets, medication or just some love.
Situated in Victoria Drive, Walmer, Animal Welfare provide shelter for homeless & strays, but more importantly, they provide veterinary care in a clean and safe environment.
For the month of August, Humewood Golf Club will be running a fundraiser where you can support with any donations – be it food, blankets or monetary.
Humewood will also be doing a draw where we will give away 8 free rounds of golf worth over R3000! Anyone who makes a donation – no matter the size – will be entered. You can keep the prize for yourself, give it to your significant other or use it as the perfect birthday gift!
All proceeds will be handed over to Animal Welfare at the Prize Giving on the 30th of August.
If you would like to support this wonderful cause, you can drop off the items at the Humewood Golf Club or Tavcor in William Moffet Drive. Remember to attach your name to get entered into the lucky draw! For more information about the donation, or if you would like to play in this golf day, you can call us on 041-583-3011 or email email@example.com.
