New Corporate Golf Challenge at Humewood Links

The Humewood Golf Club recently unveiled plans for the inaugural PwC Corporate Golf Challenge to be held at the Club on 24 June 2014. The Challenge, which was developed by Mark Wiltshire Golf, is believed to be the first of its kind and has attracted a number of the large corporates in the Metro.

The format will be a four ball alliance with a “shotgun” start i.e. all start at the same time from different tees on the course.

At R300 per player (R1 200 per fourball) the event provides excellent value for money with the hosts, Humewood and sponsor PwC determined to ensure that all enjoy the occasion and benefit from the generous basket of offerings as follows:

Besides the bragging rights of being the “CHAMPION GOLF CORPORATE OF THE YEAR” entrants will enjoy the following benefits:

  • An opportunity to advertise on an allocated tee or green on the course.
  • Business card swop competition with winner receiving 20 free rounds at Humewood.
  • An after event newsletter profiling all participating corporates and what they offer….all are welcome to include a “PwC  Corporate Challenge special offer” in the newsletter.
  • Snack platter for the competing fourball

PwC Senior Partner, Andrea Puggia, expressed his delight at being part of this initiative and appealed to corporates to support the Corporate Challenge. ” This Challenge presents an opportunity for corporates to mix and interact in a relaxed environment as they complete the first 6 months of the year. Business is tough and some time out to compare notes and recharge those batteries is never a bad thing” said Puggia.
