Gqeberha – August 2023: A worrying concern for most purchasers of Solar Systems<\/a> is what type of backup and support they will get if their chosen equipment malfunctions or is damaged in an accident.<\/p>\n

For most Solar<\/a> PV equipment – inverters\/batteries\/panels that has meant getting your installer to package the faulty equipment and send it off to a ‘major’ centre such as Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town.<\/p>\n

The most frustrating problem for clents has been the wait as equipment is couriered to the technical centre, assessed, replaced and sent back.<\/p>\n

When the equipment is out of warranty or the technical centre deems that the fault was due to human error then the back and forth of quotations from an unfamiliar business also serves to further delay getting clients back online and producing electricity.<\/p>\n

Sunsynk identified that they needed a technical support center in Nelson Mandela Bay and appointed Straton Solar<\/a> with a head office in Gqeberha, to do the support on behalf of local suppliers and installers.<\/p>\n

Any Sunsynk Lithium-Ion battery that goes faulty can now be serviced locally – offering quicker turnaround times.<\/p>\nThe technical center is a B2B center and only deals with local suppliers who sell Sunsynk Batteries to local installers. In other words, if you have a Sunsynk Battery with a prblem then your local installer will package it up and either drop the battery off with the supplier or get authorisation to drop it off directly at the Technical Center.\n
