The ‘Happiest 5k on the planet’ returns to Port Elizabeth on 12 June 2016 and MyPE is giving away FIVE Double Tickets (tickets are R250.00 each). The start is at 10:00 am from the Boardwalk Festival Lawns.
To qualify for a Double Ticket use the form below to supply your details and reasons why we should choose you and upload a selfie of yourself in your pristine white runners outfit aka ‘Before The Color’.
Winners will be chosen using non scientific methods, with bit of bone throwing fuelled by many Fanta Browns.
Your entry (without your personal identifying details) will be published on MyPE.
Winners will be announced on 7 June 2016.
Runners can expect rainbows of joy as they hop, skip, jump (or even run) their way through an untimed, 5km course, looping its way through multiple Color Stations before ending up in the world-famous Finish Festival.
Tickets are available online from The Color Run website (http://thecolorrun.co.za) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/TheColorRunSouthAfrica). Individual ticket prices are R250 and R225 for groups of 4 or more. Manual entry points are listed on the Color Run website.
Color Runners will each receive a race pack with includes a 2016 edition Race T-Shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos, and a race number. Additionally, every Color Runner will receive a R200 voucher from Superbalist to be redeemed against a minimum spend of R250.
The Color Run is a feel-good, happy, colourful event. “Color Runners” of all shapes and sizes happily go from wearing pristine white clothing, to being covered in prismatic colour. At each kilometre mark, a different colour of powder fills the air and covers the participants, creating an ever-increasing spectrum of colour and beauty. At the finish line, the colour festival kicks off and the air is filled with millions of vivid colour combinations as participants get in on the colour throwing fun as well.
