This vehicle, registration number: FDT 821 EC, was spotted on the Pedestrian crossing between the Boardwalk and Hobie Beach on Marine Drive on 09/11/2012 at around 12:15 pm.
And you said that our Traffic Cops didn’t stop Taxis!
Colour me bloody impressed is all I can say.
So FDT 821 EC stops on the pedestrian crossing between the Boardwalk and Hobie Beach on Marine Drive. Much hooting ensues so the miscreant sloooooowly proceeds another 100 metres and comes to another stop for passengers.
Oomie in an old white merc has a fit and hoots like mad finally passing taxi idjut.
A slick looking GTi pulls alongside the taxi and I see gesticulating arms. As the GTi drives away slowly, so waar as wragtig, the taxi begins reversing back to the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing. Black GTi sees this and does a U-Turn.
I am thinking to myself; “Now here comes great sport and someone is gonna get bliksemed!”
Black GTi pulls up behind the Taxi and out gets A TRAFFIC OFFICER who proceeds to encourage the taxi driver to bring his papers and have a chat with him.
All I can say to the traffic officer is; “Well bloody done, you made me smile for hours on end today and thank you!”
