The Department of Trade and Industry (dti) is inviting South African businesses to submit their entries for the 3rd Annual South African Premier Business Awards.
The awards, which will be hosted by the dti in partnership with Proudly South African and Brand South Africa in April, recognise business excellence and honours enterprises which promote success and innovation as well as job creation, good business ethics and quality.
These awards bring together all single sectored awards including technology, manufacturing and women in business, among others.
The Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies said those South African enterprises, as well as members of the media who meet the various criteria per category and achieved success in their various fields, are elegible to enter.
“After last year’s overwhelming response to our call for entries and the successful hosting of the awards event, I am anticipating that this third instalment of these awards will prove to be an even bigger exhibition in celebrating the success that South African businesses can offer both locally and internationally,” said Minister Davies.
Categories for the awards include: Exporter Award, Manufacturer Award, Rural Development Award, Technology Award, Young Entrepreneur Award, Women Owned Enterprise Award, Proudly South African Enterprise Award, Media Award, Quality Award, Green Award, Most Empowered Enterprise Award, SMME Award, Investor Award, Play Your Part Award and Corporate SME Supplier Development Award.
The closing date for entries is 6 March 2015 at 4pm.
