Dear Paid in Full Parent (Letter HERE)
Had you considered your facts right first, had you not being biased on the matter at hand, i would have understood your point. But for now, it doesn’t contain any weight….surprising that a parent can write such!
Dear paid in full parent, the fact that you paid in full for your child doesn’t change the fact that i am wondering in the streets of port elizabeth with no place to sleep, it doesn’t change the fact that i am writing this to you hungry as hell, it doesnt change the fact that i am not under NSFAS or any kind of sponsorship or bursary! It doesnt change the fact that my parents do not have the money you have for them to pay for me!
Dear paid in full parrent, the fact that you paid in full for your child doesn’t change the fact that i am poor and i cannot afford. You have paid in full, and i haven’t paid at all because i don’t know how will i be able to do so. I am here because i qualify, i am here because i want to, i am here because my intention is to better the lives of my family at large, i am here because i want to pay in full for my siblings, cousins and my own children in future as i am their only hope!
Dear paid in full parent, black lives matter!!! Understand, we cannot all be rich. We dont have the things that you have, and we dont have a problem with that. The problem is the system in which we are being told to accept! Until when?
At NMMU, we never acted out of our minds, we never damaged any property belonging to the institution nor the public. But you keep labeling us and calling us names and yes we understand because you have paid in full and we not. Yes we understand because you dont feel the pain of a suffering BLACK child.
Tell me, how did you, PAID IN FULL PARENT achieve the so-called democracy? Did it come through accepting and understanding that a black person will suffer until Jesus comes? I mean did it just come as a surprise to the black nation? NO!!!! Our parents sacrificed their lives for it, they died for us to be where we are today! Did you, PAID IN FULLPARENT call them to a stand still and told them that you are fed up of what they were fighting for? Did you call them names also? I trust you did, with your heart as it represents the heart of a slave master!!!
I am black and I’m proud! I will fight for my right, i wil die for my right! I will fight for my starving brother and sister! I am in a state where i can no longer accept that im poor! I will fight and rise, and be rich like you!
Excuse my grammar!!! English never loved me, PAID UP PARENT!!!
