This songstress’s musical journey was further propelled when she joined the Vocal blend, a gospel acapella sextet in 2002. This culminated in the recording and release of two albums, namely, Ngoban’ aba? in 2005 and Gama elihle released in 2009. The group travelled the length and breadth of the country performing and hosting various concerts and gospel shows and church functions. In September 2015 Lisa joined Legato SA, a quintet, as the only rose amongst thorns. These were the first runners up of the International Acapella Competition, Sing off SA. Legato SA explored a variety of music genres from gospel, Hip Hop to traditional African Music.
As part of Legato, Lisa performed on numerous prestigious stages, such as the Port Elizabeth Opera House Concert series in 2015, and shared the stage with Grammy award winning Lady Smith Black Mambazo Concert in 2017.They performed at the 4th Annual Ebubeleni Music festival in 2015,

In 2018 Lisa took the path of being a solo artist, a dream that she has always cherished and put together a music production called Life in Music, her very first live solo concert, which comprised of her original compositions. This production introduced Lisa as an independent artist, who draws her writing inspiration from hers and others’ life experiences. Her style of music is influenced by a variety of genres which she has been exposed to through her musical journey ranging from classical environment through to acapella and later found a home in live Afro Jazz music. Later in the year 2018 Lisa and the Life in Music Band were the guest band at the Eastern Cape Achievers awards hosted at the Port Elizabeth ICC at the Boardwalk hotel.
On Sunday the 24th as we close off the month of love, we can expect to hear Afro soul, Jazz and Gospel music from this solo artist, whose time has now come!
