Stateline Tubing hosted Toyota South Africa (Toyota SA) executives and Nelson Mandela Bay Executive Mayor, Athol Trollip as it celebrated securing a Toyota SA contract worth R3.5 million a month.
Stemming from the Stateline Group which was named one of the Bay’s top 50 companies, the growth of the Stateline Tubing partnership with Toyota SA as the popular car manufacturer continues to outsource the production and supply of parts with local manufacturers.
Executive Mayor, Athol Trollip said during his visit to Stateline Tubing, “Automotive OEMs operating in South Africa need to ensure that opportunities are given to small businesses in low-income communities. Nelson Mandela Bay has a number of business that offers world-class production for automotive parts, and I urge OEMs to explore their options to use local instead of costly imports.”
Supplying critical safety beams and fuel-filler pipes, Stateline Tubing has solidified its position as a trusted supplier for Toyota SA and is excited about the growing partnership it has established. “We’re excited about the work we do with Toyota,” remarks Mark Gaskin, Stateline Group Executive Director. “And we cannot wait to see other organisations like ours enjoy positive relationships with the leading automotive manufacturers and make Nelson Mandela Bay the automotive hub of South Africa.”
