16 DECEMBER – THUNDERSTRIKE
Wrestling fans of the ever-popular WWP Thunderstrike will have the fantastic opportunity of seeing their wrestling icons such as Tornado, Skull, Blacksmith, Woodcarver, Iceberg, The Weasel and ladies WWP Champion Akilah, live in rip-roaring action this Summer in Nelson Mandela Bay!

17 DECEMBER – OPENING OF SEASON
The Opening of the Summer Season has been a tradition in Nelson Mandela Bay as long as most people can remember! There’s loads to do from Gospel & Soul performances at Happy Valley to the ever-popular Springs Music Festival in Uitenhage.
A line-up of top local and national artists will perform on the stage at Hobie Beach from 2pm, leading up to an awesome Fireworks Spectacular at 9pm. These series of events signals the official start of Summer FREEDOM!
24 DECEMBER – CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
Starting from the Kings Beach car park at 8pm, this procession of church choirs and praise groups will sing carols as they walk along the beachfront promenade. The procession will culminate in a unified choir of praise and favourite Christmas Carols around the lake at the Boardwalk Complex.
Families are welcome to join in the procession and are welcome to dress up in true Angels and Father Christmas grandeur!
31 DECEMBER – NEW YEARS EVE PARTY
Nelson Mandela Bay is THE place to be for the count down to 2006!
Wells Estate will be the host of a Critical Mass Party and Jazz on the Square is a New Year s Eve celebration that will take place in Market Square with entertainment from Afro-Jazz to Kwaito.
A laser-light spectacular will mark the beginning of the new and exciting 2006!
